eurocultured by DiscoWizz

The hotly anticipated street festival hits Manchester again on the spring bank holiday weekend. Kicking off the start of summer. Here at Wizz Towers we can't wait. Last years event was a quality event, the pinnacle surely being Datarock on the main stage under the arches. A cracking stage pressence that really got the crowd up for it. This years line up looks to be skewed toward the evening's events. And with some of Manchester's finest clubnights currating, you'd hope so too!

The day time has an array of bands and street shenanigans with some of the city's hottest DJs dropping the tunes.

When the sun goes down, the fun will really start.

Contort Yourself will be spreading their Midas touch over the Pure triplex, and that's likely to be where you'll find DiscoWizz, no suprises there. With guests of the quality of Autokratz, Yuksek and Shadow Dancers alongside the CY residents, a good time will be guarenteed for fellow disco addicts.

Other initial standouts from the line up include the DFA backed Prinzhorn Dance School, Who will be playing the Bring on the Dancing Horses stage. Not what anyone expected to be on the support at a LCD Soundsystem gig, their crooked lo-fi is sure to be a treat. Another eye opener has got to be the MCR's finest crew Broke n English, ripping up an Italian restaurant on a Sunday evening. Not to be missed. Also gracing the Horses stage are Parisian electonic outfit Poni Hoax and mental Scots DANANANANAYKROYD, which is where you're most likely to see DaisyWizz.

Get your afterhours tickets now. They're a fiver at the moment. So it's cool if you're poor innit?

The only minor downside will be the hangover that will surely follow Tiga and Erol bringing the party to the Warehouse the night before. But that's what bank holiday weekends are made for aren't they?

Party on! x
